Robotic-assisted surgery now available at BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor

We are delighted to announce that Mr Kucheria and Mr Bourke are performing hip and knee robotic-assisted replacement surgery at BMI The Princes Margaret Hospital in Windsor.

Mr Bourke and Mr Kucheria are only two of three consultants offering this surgery at The Princess Margaret Hospital, which has recently installed a Stryker Mako robotic-arm. This will enable surgeons to offer a pioneering alternative to traditional methods of joint replacement surgery.

Mr Rakesh Kucheria said "The robotic-arm will help transform the way we perform hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, providing patients with a number of benefits like reduced recovery times, less post-operative pain and a more accurate placement of the implant than traditional methods."
